Instrumental & Vocal Lessons
Personalised Learning
Throughout the academic year (August–June), we provide tailored private lessons for students aged 3 to 18 years old. These one-on-one sessions, led by expert music instructors from diverse backgrounds across the island, help students master their chosen instrument or refine their vocal skills.
Lesson Schedule
Lessons are available during the school day (8:45am to 3:15pm) and after school (3:30pm to 6:30pm) to seamlessly fit music into students’ daily routines. Our unique scheduling system ensures academic classes remain uninterrupted while nurturing musical passion and growth.

Performance Spaces
At CIS, the Academy of Music provides abundant opportunities for students to showcase their talents throughout the year.
Our main performance venues include:
David Foster Theatre: A prestigious stage for classical and contemporary ensembles.
Black Box Theatre: An intimate setting for innovative performances.
In addition to these, students also perform in various campus spaces—from the atrium to pods and even the gym. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to expand our reach through collaborations at iconic locations such as Marina Bay Sands, Yamaha, and Timbre Plus, and to include international performances in Shanghai.
Each performance, whether a solo, chamber ensemble, or collaborative piece with renowned artists, fosters creativity, growth, and a profound appreciation for self-expression.
AOM Excursions
At the Academy of Music, we are excited to offer students the chance to shine beyond the school campus. This year, our talented students have taken the stage twice at Marina Bay Sands, and in April, our Honour Choir will represent the Academy at an international festival in Shanghai.
We’re also partnering with leading organizations worldwide to arrange special workshops and unique performance opportunities tailored for our high-ability and gifted students. These experiences not only nurture their artistic growth but also build confidence and inspire their musical journey.
